Looking For A Change was created for
the purpose of coaching and consulting Leaders in small to
mid sized businesses on change and
performance issues. Our mission is to give Leadership more
time to work on their businesses as opposed to in them,
while gaining in employee productivity, job satisfaction
and retention. In most cases that will mean a change to the
way the they think about the most important aspect
to their business. Themselves and their
people associates.
Peter Drucker, arguably the first Executive
Coach and American author of modern thinking on Management and
Leadership, defined the role of Leadership as
"getting things done thru people." Far too many other
thinkers and authors who have come after him,
have felt compelled to further define what he
meant. However, in the most simple terms, business is
about making things and selling things. To achieve these
ends most of us make use of people and some form
or type of system. Since people are maintaining these
systems, business is really only about people.
Executives and Leaders that are inclined to have
open and learning organizations are the ones that are usually higher
performing and achieve better results and success. It is a road less
traveled but, much more rewarding. Is there a reason
